The Green Man is a single player simulation game that focuses on companion planting and the slow turn of the seasons. It is a chill journey into understanding the rhythms of the natural world around us. Plant your crops by the moons and harvest them at their peak. Improve your harvests and build your land as you unlock new techniques and knowledge.
The green man is a single player experience offering casual game play with many rewards. Originally targeting the PC, it may possibly target other platforms at a later date, such as IOS, Android and MacOS.
Starting with a small garden plot and a stick, you plant and grow your first crops. Pay attention to water, weather, and the time of year. Plan your water storage to correspond with the growing seasons. Fertilize and prune at appropriate times. Most importantly, watch your planting companions. Some grow well with each other, and enhance their yield, some do not live so well together.
Each day you will complete what tasks you have the skills for, and each days accomplishments will be entered into your journal. At the end of each day you may sleep, or simply wander around to enjoy your garden. When you sleep, there is the option to skip ahead many days. But watch the moons. The year can easily slip past you before you know it.
